Our present-day challenges - specifically the pandemic, the climate crisis, racial and human rights issues - are fundamentally and inherently global in nature.

These issues cannot be solved in any meaningful way without a level of cooperation that transcends national boundaries and interests. Our current global institutions, however, are not in any way prepared or equipped to deal with such threats. 
So what options do we have? And what actions can we take?
